Havre Boucher to Caribou Ferry Terminal (Pictou)
Distance: 55.3 nm
Time: 9hrs
Winds average: 8knots
Got going early as we have another long day ahead. Weather was nice and had some good winds. Lobster traps were all over the place again.
Made it to Caribou before the ferry came in. As we approached our anchoring position we found ourselves in a large shallow bay. We found ourselves well protected.
Next morning we were woken up several times by the the wakes of lobster boats as they headed out to their traps.
Raised anchor early, 7:30 as we wanted to be out of the navigation channel before the ferries started the morning trips.

Hi, Christine and Jean:
Auint Peggy just gave me your contact info, so I'm trying it out. We heard from Uncle Gordie that you had stopped in there for a couple of days for a visit, and he was really pumped about that. Did you stay at their place or did you continue to sleep aboard Seafire? Stampede is almost on us (it starts next Thursday with Sneak a Peak) so the city is gearing up for it. The weather this week has been very nice, but later today the rain is to move in again for several days. I hope you get sunshine and favourable winds in the days ahead.
Uncle Keith
